You folks have 'cabbaged-on' to a 9 year-old thread. You should start a new thread to get anyone interested.

With regard to V.A., Ryan Zwicker of V.A. is the "real deal". He helped me on a V.A. install on my '65 Grand Prix, where I wanted the stock heater/air control head to operate the V.A. system.

I can only say that if you have any issues or questions on a V.A. install, call V.A. tech folks. They will work with you to get your system up and running like to want it.

Looks like I just spent a lot of time unknowingly responding to a ZOMBIE post. I've been posting to CorvetteForum since about 2004. This whole phenomenon of ZOMBIE posts suddently showing after years of being asleep in the archieves is relatively new.....maybe the last year or so? I wish that when we see a post we had a way of immediately knowing it was yesterday's newspaper. I'll have to be more sensitive to looking at post dates in the future.

Zombie threads started when the "Related Thread" feature was turned on. You can be scrolling along in a current thread and accidentally go past the last post and into an old thread.

This can be turned off on the desktop site, but I haven't seen a way to turn it off on mobile browsers.

As Wendell says, it’s a function of the Related Threads feature which is the site default setting. It can be turned off in your User CP. changing this setting turned it off for all my site access, whether it be desktop or mobile device.
