As I look At this picture I realize all the small things like belts, fan, new hoses upper and lower, new heater hoses, new vacuum hoses, cleaned up wiring, cleaned up alt .. repaired, painted upper and lower alt brackets, correct alt pulley, all the paint I stripped off the engine bay wiring. Man all the small things add up and this picture makes me feel like I have made some good progress on getting things sorted out and looking better..

Trailing arms are on their way back to me... I have a handful of other parts heading this way in the next few weeks. Super excited to get it back on the ground, hopefully by the end of the month.

Busy day I got both trailing arms, both parking brake cables, rear brake lines, calipers pads and shocks installed.. halfsafts are at the blasters when i get those back I'll get the leaf links installed. I'm going to focus on bleading brakes, priming oil and double checking I'm on TDC rechecking plug wires. If all goes well I should be able to fire it up on Tuesday which is my birthday....
well I finally got to take this beast on a ride .... first time on the streets in over 32 yrs ....had a small fuel leak at carb and had to remove the side pipes as I think they are clogged ... boy this 427 on open headers sure can sing ... I'm pretty excited that all my previous work all came together and the test drive was flawless.... now for more fuel.
You figured out how not to burn your or her leg on the side pipes!
Actually I still found a way lol. Dang it.
A buddy gave me an older MSD box for F R double E I took the time to install it today. Made a bracket to mount it to the fender well. I then wired the positive to the starter batt wire and the neg to the starter ground. Took time to wrap all the wire with expandable mesh wire cover. Pretty happy with the looks.
