I found a 73 l48 auto 100k on speedo complete sitting in storage for 20 years, never started or moved, brakes locked up paint shot interior complete but has smoke damage from something burning in the garage, car not burned but windows were down. All numbers match. Red w/ tan. His bottom line is $2000.00. I would just resell it as a barn find. Your thoughts?

Sounds like the current owner wants top dollar. You would be hard pressed (from your description) to resell as a project and make a profit.

I paid $1500 for my 73 "garage find"....original engine, all there but the badges. Sounds to me like 2k is a bit much. Then again I had frame and birdcage rust.

Sounds high to me unlessbthe frame and birdcage are perfect.
