Default RPO codes & color

So I got my AIM, service manual & owners manul.
I'm still lost as to where the RPO stcker is on my 82.
I don't know what color my interior is.
It seems like a light grey, but the carpet seems to have a light blue color.

I'm going to order a new carpet & set cover set & I have no clue as to the color!

Please help on the RPO so I know what my car came with, but more important, what my color is called!
Thanks.

Your trim tag (a small stamped stainless steel plate) ought to be attached in the driver's door hinge pillar area. If painted over, you have St. Louis car, btw. Just scroll down to your year at the link below and you'll find the Exterior & Interior color combinations listed by RPO...

Thanks!
I did not know that site existed.
I am however a dummy.
I have been reading & trying to learn on my own but I've been finding the more I 'get into' my car, the more I find I have to ask the pro's!
This is my 1st Vette & as some may remember, I've only had it since Nov 2010.

Here is my trim tag:

The link I found to read this tag had a picture totally different than mine:
http://www.c3vr.com/C3-Corvette-Build-Date-Trim-Tag.asp

So, who here can decode my tag & tell me what it's trying to tell me?

Thanks

I tried to look up your codes in the Corvette Black Book, but I am not seeing anything that matches up. However, the book says that Red Vettes came with the following interior colors in 82: Charcoal, Camel, Dark Red, and Silver Gray.

It appears that you have the Silver-Gray interior with leather seats.

Your car was built in Bowling Green KY. The trim tag in your link is for St. Louis MO built cars only.

131 is silver grey leather interior, 70 is the exterior colour simply called 'red'. The L and U after the 70 are for upper and lower parts of the body in case of a two tone.

The car was built in the first week of July as shown by 07A

Butch, while we understood what you were looking for when you asked about the RPO sticker, as you've concluded this is your trim tag. But I suspect you'll also want to know your RPOs (regular production options). I would suggest an online visit to the GM Heritage Center and order yourself the 1982 Corvette Package. It contains all the original sales and marketing materials for the 1982 model year. Lots of codes and information. You may also want to order a copy of the original dealer invoice that will list those RPOs that were ordered for your vehicle. You'll need to know your VIN (vehicle identification number).

Good luck and enjoy.

There isn't an RPO sticker on the car. A copy of the original Corvette order, window sticker, dealer invoice, etc will list the options.

Contact the National Corvette Museum and see if you can obtain a copy of your build sheet from them.

https://store.corvettemuseum.com/ser...buildsheet.asp

A copy of The Corvette Black Book will list the options for 1982. You could compare the options list with what you find on your car and come reasonably close.

PS, PB, AC, T/T, leather, ralley wheels, and fiberglass tops were standard.
