Problem with headlight operation
I started troubleshooting my headlights yesterday (they won't close) and found a problem with the headlight relay valve assemblies. Both are leaking, one worse than the other. Are these available new from GM or vendors or can they be rebuilt? Thank you in advance for any help/advise.

Dan, you can get them from almost all the vendors here, willcox, ZIP, corvette america, RIKS. Not sure on the rebuild of the valves though. Someone will chime in though. HDL-111 for 127 dollars at ZIP.

My 1983 parts and illustration catalogue lists #5638427 for the vacuum relays. You can try your Chevrolet parts department, but I would not be surprised to learn they are no longer available from GM.
