Tires
Ordered my tires today from Tire Direct (BF Goodrich Radial T/As 225/70/15) and really got a great deal. 5 tires, 5 chrome sleeves and shipping (which is standard) for $475. On top of this is a $50 mail in rebate from BF Goodrich bringing the cost down to $425. Really happy that they had them in stock given that Tirerack and Online Tire both have these tires on back order. Ecstatic that I can use the money I saved on a new starter! LOL!! Used the car yesterday and twice the starter sounded like an impact wrench. Thinking there must be a dead spot. All part of the activity!

javaman, glad you got the tires.let us know the date of manufacture when you get them. I know I should replace mine soon.

You don't have the tires, yet; they have only been ordered. If the other places have them on backorder, your vendor may not even know they aren't still available. I hope that isn't the case, but, unfortunately, it is a possibility.

Hey Guys,
I do have a tracking number and according to that, they will be delivered tomorrow. Still surprised because these tires have been on B/O with most suppliers since late winter/early spring.
I'm thinking Roy, since they have been on B/O, these are not tires that have been sitting around. I will check the date and let you know.
