Hood decal
I have a '72 LT-1 that needs the hood decal painted on. I have the stencil and would like to know what is a reasonable price to have a body shop paint it on. And does anyone know of a good shop in Connecticut that does good paint like this work on old vettes.

The stripe was taped and painted; and the lettering was a decal.
Which are you having done?
If it's the stripe you can buy the stencil kit for about $100; then the shop would have to put the stencil on and spray the stripe. Or, you could do the stripe with pin stripe tape. Or, you could have someone who does real pin stripes, paint it on.
