Might be better than what you have. For a real difference, order a C4 squirrel cage and install it. You will need a 1/2" spacer since the C4 fan is 1/2" bigger than the C3 fan.

I wasn't happy with mine either. I've got a non - AC car. The fan has a single power wire going to it. BUT there was an ( I'm guessing here) inline resistor. I simply unplugged it , and plugged the power wire directly to the back of the fan. BIG difference. Anyone know why GM would put an inline resistor on the fan?

c4 gage
Ya I bought the c4 cage however the shaft on the motor does not go through the gage. Do i have to cut down the fan so I can get the nut on ?
