Default 75 wiring issue

Wiring problem! i just put in a new dash wiring harness and connected it to the engine side but im getting no power to the inside, im thinking the engine side hookup is bad possibly what is the name for this part/ harness is it the engine harness or what? also what do you guys think it may be?

In the engine compartment you have an ignition harness and a headlamp harness.

Do you have all your 10 reds plugged in on the engine side of the bulkhead connector ?

Yes but do both of these go into that single block? or what? i dont need an entire harness i just a new block or whatever harness th block comes with

Yes they both assemble together and go on as one.

Well crap, see my connector looks similar to the one pictured dirty, connectors somewhat loose etc. do i have to buy both harnesses?

Send Noonie a PM to get involved in your thread,he has a 75 and was just where you are and should be able shed some light. I have a feeling your problem might be the funky way the 75 brings power into the bulkhead with the multiple connections made under the brake booster which also includes the fusible links.

I wouldn't buy anything yet,one wire unplugged will kill the power.
Do you have power at the back of the alternator or any of the large red wires ?

All the red 10ga join in front of the bulkhead. Solenoid, Alternator, Bulkhead and Fan Relay

im getting power to the bulkhead ive tested it on the "pickup" side and im getting power but it seems as if the loose prongs in the bulkhead arent connecting properly with the new dash harness
