1973 restoration update
Here an update of my restoration.I decided on a 350/400hp crate engine. I have the #'s matching L-48 motor and will rebuild and save for the future. I'll post more photos as build progresses.

Very nice!
I have a '73 frame-off, also (actually, I guess it's "body off")
Just one concern - will there be enough clearance for the hood to close? (manifold and air cleaner look a little high) - but not sure...
Again, very nice...

Motor is built to fit under stock hood according to engine builder. Wont be sure till I drop the body on but I'm sure hoping it does or another hood is in my future

Hi e,
It looks like you're doing some VERY nicely detailed work!!!
I love seeing the chassis and running gear without the body. When they're well done it's almost a shame to cover them up!
Again.... WELL DONE!
Regards,
Alan

Looking good ....but I don't think that coil will fit in there with engine in place.

I agree. It's just mounted there for shipping purposes. Will relocate when the body is on.

Looks like you're making progress
Never ceases to amaze me how bad these cars look when striped down to the fiberglass.
