I thought the purpose was to ask if you don't know and to answer if you do. It's worked well for me. Expert is a subjective term. I've been in the Corvette hobby since 1985 and do close to 100% of all my maintenance. I still learn something new every day and a lot of it comes from here on the forum. I've used it for C3, C4, C5, and C6.
Many members have helped me out without even knowing it. I don't know how many have saved myself and the '81 but it's more than two hands full. Thanks so much for ALL you guys, that do so much for all of us on this great site.
Yes, LOTS of smart guys on here. A couple I haven't seen mentioned are JohnZ and Jim Shea. Both fountains of knowledge. Several of the others mentioned have been a big help to me too, Roger has steered me right 4 or 5 times now!
I would hate to try to mention everyone’s name here that has helped me for fear that I would leave someone out. I was explaining to my wife about the different personalities its really neat.
I didn't either. Then again, what isn't these days. I get tired of it.
Instead of the biggest know it all, how about the most thoughtful, courteous and helpful CF member? Some of the names already mentioned would surely be in the running, not all. I vote for Alan71.
