Default Carpet vendor recommendations

I need carpet for my '69 Coupe. Driver quality is desired. Looking for value and good fit. Also would like suggestions for a sound deadeneing/heat padding for underneath carpet.

Suggestions?

I got mine thru Ecklers and they got it from ACC. Good fit and good price.

Lots of guys recommend Al Knoch. Maybe in 20 years I'll try him.

Reflectix for heat and hushmat for sound dampening.

they would be my recommendation also. i bought my entire interior from them and they were great to deal with. they basically "broker" the parts from various manufacturers and you get the advantage of the price differences. the folks there are professional to deal with and know they stuff.

I just put Al Knoch carpet in my '71. The fit and quality are excellent, especially over the rear wheel wells, which can be problematic.

Hi tcg,
Thanks!
Since there are only a couple of manufacturers you need to know who's carpet you're buying in order to know how good a deal you're getting.
Regards,
Alan

got my whole interior kit from wilcox and all fits nicely with very little fighting and customizing. except for dash, that was a 4 hour fight but i hear its that way reguardless due to replica fitment anyways, but carpet was awesome and material is easy to vaccumm and doesnt hold onto hair and stains like alot of others do and to me that was important

I ordered from Wilcox. Got the forum discount. I talked with the guy on the phone. He said the order will be out within the week. Hopefully by the end of next week I will see it. He really seemed to have more answers than I asked for. I'm looking forward to getting it.
When he told me I would have to do a little trimming, I thought that was a good thing. Better than trying to stretch it, huh?
