Hole in piston.
Pulled my car out of storage last week. I remember when I put it in storage that it wasn't running very well. I found out last night I have a hole in one of the pistons. 
I'm going to use a 1974 engine that I have with 58K on it. Someone was telling me that placing a LT1 cam in it will really wake it up good. Any thoughts on a cam for this pile?

If the 74 engine is stock (low compression, low flow heads, no-rise intake) a LT1 cam will make it a slug. Especially if it's an automatic.
Get a modern cam designed for your application and you'll be much happier.

That is exactly what it is zwede. Completely stock. Any suggestions on a specific cam?
