Anyone have pros or cons to this insurance. I am thinking about changing my current policy. What agreed value would you put on a 1970 original owner with 36000 miles.
I have had it since I got my vette about 2 months ago. Cannot beat the price and supporting the Corvette Museum. I haven't had to do any claims yet, but my windshield got some chips in it from driving, so most likely next year I will file a claim to get a new windshield put in.
Adam Boca is a frequent on the forum (I believe a supporting vendor actually). The setup time was very speedy and easy.
I just went with them, and couldn't be happier. Between USAA, Haggerty, and Grundy, NCM was the least expensive, plus you are supporting the Museum with your business. The other companies also had me on hold for various amounts of time, whereas Adam answered the phone and took care of me right away.
My only con is that I couldn't insure my 71 for the actual value for the first year. You can only insure it for the purchase price. So if you get a ridiculous deal on something, you'll be a little under insured. At least your out of pocket is covered.

Look at what others are asking for similar cars and use that. Your insurance value should be the amount it takes to buy a similar car in a short amount of time (meaning, not having 6 months to find a great deal).
BTW, I switched to NCM ins this year and so far really happy. Cost is very reasonable and you can even get them to cover you for an occasional drive to work.
Have my 2000 with them.
They have relaxed the coverage rules to allow for more casual driving.
Good prices.
Have my 70 with Grundy for agreed value of $25,000.
Also, a good price.
i just switched my coverage from hagarty (who was an excellent company for my entire time with them) to adam boca at the corvette museum. i found them to be extremely competitive and feel that i got way more value for the money when it was all said and done. as a museum member i felt it was worth checking into and was pleasantly surprised and exceptionally happy with adam, the new policy and the entire process of changing companies. i would certainly check them out at a minimum.
I tried but apparently NCM DOES NOT cover cars in Washington State. Got instead referred to another company ( Atlas Insurance Agency, part of American Modern) that I have not had any complaints with yet.

Was true for me as well. But I sent some pictures to Adam and he managed to bump up the value a little based upon the condition. I went with a deductable, but I would definitely compare with Hagerty and see what works best with your needs. NCM seems to have more relaxed attitude towards where you can and cannot drive.
