Default Cooling system capacity

Anyone know the capacity of the cooling system on the 72 vette w/dewits radiator? I have 7 vette books, searched the net and the forum with no results. auto car with no a/c.

Somewhere in the 13-15 quart range, I'm thinking.

I just filled my rebuilt BB, dry radiator/expansion tank and new hoses with about 6 gallons. Less for a SB, and even less if it's just the rad.

Since it has an after market radiator you may want to contact DeWits.

In 73 the stock base 350 was 19 qts.
