Default Build sheets

I know most build sheets were glued on top of the gas tank at the factory. My tank was changed out years ago and the PO told me there was no sheet there. My question is , is there more than one sheet? I plan on re doing the interior in the near future and was wondering if there is a chance I may find another one somewhere else. Thanks

I don't think so, but you never know. Maybe an assembly line technician/supervisor slipped one up under the dash or under the carpet. There's probably a really slim slim chance of that being the case though.

I found one in a 1970 that I had, and it was under the carpet in the rear storage area. It was in great condition. I have also heard of them being between the speedometer and tach behind the dash.

I found one under the rear carpet also, and one on my tank.

The one from the tank.

Hi rh13,
I believe that in the early 70s a sheet was sometimes tucked behind the dash between the speedo and tach, or behind/above the radio.
My 71 had a copy behind the radio.
If your dash hasn't been apart you might be lucky!
Regards,
Alan

Though rare, they have been found under the rear carpet, in the dash, and sometimes in a lower seat cushion too.
