Any news on the damages / repair from shipping? Hope it's working out as well as possible for you Roger.

Nothing much new... Shipping company still will not budge on giving me any money...
Did receive the new tail light panel... As soon as I get back from TDY and get the garage a little more organized, I will remove damaged panel and graft this bad boy into place...
Gimme a week or two then I'll be back with daily updates...

Glad to hear you got the part in hand. Given the time that has gone by, and their reluctance to pay up, I would suggest getting a lawyer involved. They should not be allowed to be negligent and brush off damages to someone's property. Transporting is what they do - either do it well, or pay the penalty.
I am new to the forum and just read thru this thread. WOW...what a nice job you have done on this car! Its a shame about the shipping issue. I am sure you will get it back looking right. I hope you get a chance to update your thread soon. You are helping me get motivated starting my 1972 I recently acquired.
On another note....I spent 1965 to 1968 in Wurzburg Germany. ( Leighton Barracks...now closed ) Loved Germany.

After watching all the work you did on this car, it is a tragedy to see what has happened. Hope you are able to get it all resolved to your satisfaction. Thank you for your service....

rogman16 - I have just spent hours reading your thread a number of times. I am a new owner of a 73 and your thread has taught me so much. Thank you for this and for your service. I am sorry to hear about the damage. I wish there was more I could do to assist. If you ever need anything from the NY\NJ area send me a message and I would be glad to help. Enjoy Tass and Fame as they are the most important and cant be easily fixed or replaced. Keep us updated and I wish you all the best.

The last remaining items to be picked up for non-temp storage will be gone next Wednesday... That will allow me to configure the garage to do the necessary body work to get her ready for paint--Again!!!
As I start her up for her bi-weekly warm-up, I decided to put on the new wheels...

New Centerlines:
Really like the new look... Thanks for looking and commenting...

I'm at Rock Island for the past week, getting ready to deploy again, It looks like I will be going to Qatar, but have to travel to other countries near by. They wanted me to go to Liberia, but I got out of it. Keep us posted

The vette looks amazing. Nice work.
seeing it like that pisses me off even more knowing that you have to step backwards and fix somebody else's major fark up.
Well done, sir.
