Default Her 1st show

This past Sunday was my '70s first show. Great experience, nice cars, lots of compliments and picture taking. Overall a great time. Saw many nice cars but the Stingray shape is still unbeatable. Here she is next to Jay's '71.

Nice to see a good looking set of wires. They are a biotch to get/keep clean...and once they start to rust...

Hopefully it won't come to that. Right now the only little bit of rust visible is on 2 lug nuts. These wheels sure are a pain to take off though....

To each his own... LOL

I own 64 72 and 98 Convertibles PLUS 76 79 and 88 (35th anniv) Coupes...

Mornings and in the evenings you honestly can not beat a rag top BUT they are pretty useless in the heat of the day in the heat and who wants to own a convertible and put the darn top up ANYTIME except at a NCRS car show...

Nice pair of cars ... I'd be proud to have either in my garage..

R, car looks great. Does the silver C3 parked next to you belong to a CF member? Great contrasting colors - my favorites in fact.

Thanks for all of the nice compliments ... we had a great time. Paul (PKGuitar) was there, as well. Next year, I'll reserve parking for corvette forum members ! LOL

Jay71, I live at the shore and my one son attends Rutgers, so let me know when there is another event. I have met a number of CF members from central NJ that I do the circuit with down this way. Perhaps you can post your local events on the NJ Vette social group, as Steve posts upcoming events and coordinates convoys to different venues like the Beach Bum event in LBI, Kerbeck TfT, Smithville, etc.

Hey...I graduated from Rutgers not too long ago, and I live in New Brunswick, right in the University area. You should let me know when you are around here. What year is your son? Which campus does he live on?
