GS, looks great. Just to confirm, $900 or $9,000 ? If $900.00 Im guessing thats materials and you painted it yourself in that cool looking barn?

Hi GS,
Your paint job looks great in the pictures.
You must be pretty quick to do it in only 30-40 hours!
Well Done!!!
Regards,
Alan

greg, i almost put the black on the rear but wasn't sure it would look ok.
i couldn't decide where i should stop the black on the rear, so i decided not to do it and see how it looks without it.

alan, it wasn't in bad shape when i started so it didnt take alot of hours. i did the hard part years ago when i painted it the first time.
it just had chips and nicks here and there.

dose, i thought the 2 colors would good together before i sprayed it and now that it's done i'm happy with the way it turned out.

thanks everyone for the compliments

heres the first part of my paint job.
mrmagrath you can see i just made a temp spraybooth in my garage till my permenent spraybooth is finished.

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c3-g...ress-pics.html

81pilot, i totaly stripped the whole car down the the glass about 3 years ago and painted it. so the hard part was done already. it just had chips and scratches that had to be repaired. and the hood was new. this was only the 2nd paint job on the car. if i have to paint it again i will strip it down again. i don't like more then 2 paint jobs on a car.
the colors are 90-91 corvette steel blue and some black pearl i have.
the blue pinstripe is 93 kawasaki zx7 blue i had left over.

rogman, i've used just about every paint line but i've been using DeBeers paint for the last 7 or 8 years and really like it!!!
i've sprayed my truck, grand sport hayabusa and prob over a hundred other cars with it and never had a prob with it.

Default Very Nice!

I really like the stripe on the hood only, especially since you hhe the tinted glass roofs.

Great job on the paint!
