How is the "market getting better" based on that sales ad? Once that whizbang sells, then we will have some info on the market. [A seller can ask for ridiculous money...and they do...]
Your question about the market or this cars value.....my prediction is it will not hit the 15K starting point....hey it's a nice car but this is a case where if it was all the same but stock it would be easier to sell and at a better price.
Well...it doesnt have an 83 interior because there is no 83 vette...( know the urban legends )
It has perhaps 79-82 seats and horn cap/wheel
It has a mako front clip that has a rather ugly to me hood growth,
It has what looks like a worn small blower...500HP lets see the dyno paperwork....
The guys says he has to sell but won't if it doesn't fetch what he must get to let her go....he will be keeping it a while longer.
Did I mention I have a 69 convertible daily driver that I also have a mako kit I plan to install....I have way less that 15K in my project so far....
It is an ebay listing. You will see all kinds of crazy pricing on ebay, for vettes, that doesn't mean the market is any better, or even if he can get that kind of money, for his, more than likely, NOT.

Custom "creations" like that car really have no bearing on the market. You either like them or you don't. That one is not well done at all and is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
Hi,
I'm assuming that 500 hp engine requires fuel lines that are that fat, and require ss 'shielding'. (Is that what it's called).
Not to be completely negative... black, shiny!
