Hi, what are my options for upgrading my interior to make it feel more modern? I have seen people put c5 seats in their car, but what else have people done? any dash upgrades etc... thakns

Trade it towards a C6.

This is probably way over the top, but on 1 of those car shows on tv they installed a late model C6 zo6 dash into a 62 corvette. A ton of other mods were done as well but it sure updated the interior. Anything is possible with the right amount of money.

Spend your money on a decent used C5 or C4. Leave the C3 alone. (Hey...you asked...)

Someone did it. You guys have seen the C6 body kit for the C3's...someone posted it not too long ago. Well on the website...or when you look in the the car everything is modern...I believe they even sell the dash I think...just not the gauge cluster

Hey, knock yourself out. Just seems like a waste of money and a good C3 to me. Good luck if you try it.

I modified mine with C5 seats because I am getting old and have been broken too many times. That's as far as I got because I like it the way it is. When I need more comfort than that, I drive my Chevy truck or Pontiac.

I always liked the stock C3 interiors. I think the '68-'74 interiors look somewhat exotic, the big speedo and tach, the gauge cluster stack in the center console. Pure functionality. I can understand adding a nicer radio, steering wheel, and some upgraded speakers. However the overall look and styling is classic. See pics below.

The 68-77 interiors are very good.
Something that dates the interior is an old radio. I have a Kenwood eXcelon mask. There is an aftermarket center armrest that matches.

Why not be satisfied with your 69? You bought it the way it is. Why try to make it something it isn't?

Think about it.
