Default Dad turned 90 today
He worked paint repair in the St. Louis Corvette plant. I have a picture of him and the last C3 coming off the line in a UAW newsletter.
Several years ago he helped me look at my first C3 you should have seen him go through a car.

He must be a tough old 'bird'! I don't think I ever saw anyone painting the acrylic lacquer with any mask or breathing help.
He must have some GOOD lungs!
Did EVERY car get at least SOME paint touch up?

Hey man CONGRAT'S to your Dad, 90 is a major feat in itself.

Although i lost my Dad many year's ago my mom just turned 90 also this Oct,

So Happy Birthday to your Dad and may he add a few more to that.

Sorry I don't have a scanner. So here's a story he was telling me this evening. Before they would shoot a spot they would check the gun by shooting a spot on the wall, he said the paint was about one inch thick..
Can you imagine having that???
