Default Kelsey Hayes wheel code help.

I bought a set of rally wheels of craigslist for my '74. They are eight inches wide but have an AG code. K1 with an 8 under it and a 2 next to it. On the other side of the stem hole is 7 AG. Are these '68 Feb. 7th wheels? Again these are 8" wide. I thought these are supposed to be 7". These are in beautiful shape and I might post them for sale. Thanks. Tom.

Hi t,
I'd think...AG 7", ...AZ 8". The date acts like it wants to be on a 7" wheel.
Are you measuring 'shoulder to shoulder or ' lip to lip'?
?
Regards,
Alan

I measured the widest part across the lip.
