A proper split cover is what makes a '74 a '74!!
Go with the one LS4 pilot suggested. I've seen his in person, and it looks nicer than an original cover.

A proper split cover is what makes a '74 a '74!!

I have a '73 and like that it is unique because of the half-n-half look. It has so many suspension mods that there is no way the underside looks original, but the outside is all stock. It might be a little late in the game, but I have to agree with 71scgc, I also like that the split bumper is very unique to the '74.

I know this has gotten to be an old post--but I'd sure like to see how that paint job worked out! I'd also like to see what the painted engine bay looked like before the engine went back in!

.....just in case someone's interested in seeing an original Orange '74 coupe with it's "split-tail" rear bumper...

...I don't have a split window coupe, but I do have a split tail coupe.


....looks like a great deal on the 454 car. Is it an early one or late?
