Default Should I?

I don't know much about corvettes, other than I have always appreciated them and wanted one some day.
Well...I came upon a 1978 Daytona that someone wants to trade for a truck I have for sale, and was wondering if someone could tell me a little more about what that means. More importantly, what it is worth.
Thanks in avdance!

What's your truck worth?
"78 Daytona" suggests something that has had the body customized. What's the overall condition?
Need some more info to help with value, and then any opinions you get regarding the value are just that, opinions.

And yes, opinions will abound and yes the more information the better.

A " Daytona" corvette is most likely one with a body kit on it. In my research for mine, I have seen all levels of customization from mild to wild covered under this one term. One of the most prevalent makers of a Daytona kit was Greenwood Corvettes, see the link below.

Hope this help

Thanks. I am meeting him tomorrow afternoon. In the pics he sent, it looks a little wider than normal and had louvers on the hood area.
What else should I be looking for?
