Default *** Engine Numbers on stamp pad ***

CF member Mainline666 posted a thread in regards to the authenticity of the numbers on his engine stamp pad. Just wondering if anybody can provide pics of definite non restamped engine pads - just for comparison. Thanks

Hi,
Here's the pad from my 71 sb.
It shows a pretty typical pad with broach marks and stamps.
Regards,
Alan

7t2vette:

I don't know about the 'experimental part' possibility, but that block has a milled surface, rather than a broached one [for those who want to know the difference]. Who knows what those numbers mean?
