Took out my driver's side door today and took the old covers and foam off. Amazing how small the foam got after 38 years.
New ones look great. Have to take off a little surface rust this weekend and get the one seat together. Probably take the passanger side out this weekend or next week.
Install seems pretty straight forward. Looking at the Corvette America video's that are online for some help.
I had replaced my foam and covers on mine. had no troubles at all. Blasted and painted the frames before I put them back together. What a world of difference it made the interior it made...

I have dark saddle interior with seats needing done. If I do just seats will colors be way off from door panels and dash etc?
I should have done mine myself... I was thinking with putting the rest of the interior in and exhaust plus all the little extras along the way I would just send them out with the free install offer...I thought wrong....
I got the bottom part of the first seat done today. Will get the back done tomorrow and then will take off the passanger seat. It is actually really easy and looks a heck of a lot better than 38 year old vinyl that is ripping at the seams. Pics will be posted shortly.
I have 74 oxblood. They are the exact same color as the old ones. I plan on doing the interior next winter but had some extra money from this winter's projects and wanted to get the seats done since I plan on using the heck out of my new engine this summer.
