You might want to look here, at least you'll know that it fits....

WOW!!! Now I know why I do not post here. rzkas asked a question about if the wing would fit not what your opinion was on his style or his choice of wing. Some of you need to get off your high horse and if you can not say something that helps keep quiet. It is his car and if he likes it then more power to him. The few holes that it takes to mount one are no big deal to fix.

I'll bite...... both of those wings look .....er.... not too aesthetic, at least for A Corvette. Let me explain why. Both have pretty bulky looking pedestals, looking defffffinatly aftermarket. The end wing shapes do not really follow and Body lines of the car, sort of Apples-Cantalope or oranges - brocoli..... you get my thinking? I think you should spend some more time looking for a supplier with a more pleasing looking wing. I'd imagine it's going to take some looking, and a lot of it, to find the 'LOOK' that complements the body shape.
These are somewhat pleasing. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...nVVkVLM_t81tPw But as you gathered from the responses, the wings are not well received here on the forum. And that's simply because there are so few that would flow with the styling of a C3 body. I'd have to agree as well with that assessment. Maybe an aluminum wing might work looks-wise. but your honestly making it look really high school juvenile. REO Speedwagon-like, you know.... mullets.. I'm with you on trying to personalize your ride, but I think other areas might provide a better return on aesthetic upgrading. It's too bad the Rice Tuners have made such a mess of the accessory offerings, ultimatly making them equate with zitty wanabe Fast and Furious 'Tuners'.

So not everybody likes a stock looking car. Big deal! I'm pretty sure that while you may not want to be interested in what another person has to say that doesn't mean they are any more interested in what you have to say. I'm not interested in your opinion any more than you are mine. It's you car so do with it what you will and I'll do what I like to mine just as in the long run the OP will do whatever he wants to.

I just love the phrase " its their car they can do what they want with it"
Thats nice and all but sometimes a little "unasked for" guidance is needed, otherwise without it I would now have a 4X4 vette with the top cut off, sitting backwards on the frame with the engine in the back!

If you're not interested in anyone else's opinion, why are you on a forum? Isn't that kinda the whole point of a forum?

If I posted on this forum, and said "Hey, guys, all the cool kids at my school wear onions tied to their belts, so I'm gonna start walking around with an onion tied to my belt, what do you guys think would look better, a yellow onion or a white onion?", I would hope that most guys would say "Dude, you really don't wanna walk around with an onion tied to your belt, you'll look like an idiot."

(The onion tied to the belt is a metaphor for the wing on the spoiler, in case you're confused.)

Maybe if the wing wasn't "universal" and being put on top of a rear bumper that already has a spoiler built into it this whole thread won't be so negative and confrontational (with MAYBE being the operative word here).

Ok so I was wrong about it being his car and he should do whatever he wants as long as he likes it. He should bend to what the masses want and don't do it. "He'll get laughed at" "Go buy a ricer" " When you trade it in ..." I guess those remarks and others are what triggered my responses. I don't care about most of the opinions on this forum because alot of them are just plain stupid and some are saying that of me as they read this. Your opinion of what I wrote, or me, doesn't mean anything as to how I feel. A person asked for a opinion on if anyone had done or what might look better on his car. I don't think he realized that he was opening himself up to ridicule or being made fun of. Just an honest reply with out all the crap would have been enough but some can't leave it at that. I don't post much on here because of just that reason and you've never read me asking a question about anything for just that reason. I still say it's his onion so let him do what he wants to-if YOUR confused.

Well, that's one way of looking at it it.......another way of looking at it is like this: if you were walking around with an onion tied to your belt because you thought it was cool, a real friend would have the decency to let you know you looked like an idiot. Friends don't let friends walk around with onions tied to there belt. I can't believe I just typed that.

OK, see, the thing about this car, is that it is sooooooo far over the top that it almost comes around full circle to being cool again. Not quite, but almost.........

LOL!!! I can't even look at it without laughing!!!
