Any cure for this problem? I've been using electrical tape hehe. I can push it up, but after a couple of bumps it's right back down. I know I can't be the only one
If you have standard non tele visors... sure there is. Pull the visor off the rod, lay a towel on top of the visor and tap to tighten up the reinforcement on the rod.
On your car and with standard visors.... there is a metal frame that goes around the rod and holds tension. Tapping this down a little bit and then driving the rod back in will solve the problem.
Huh!!! You would think a business like Willcox would try to sell you new ones, but instead, they tell you how to fix the old ones! You just don't see that much anymore. I am going to make a point of buying something from Willcox in the near future just because of this!
I have the telescopics and my driver side is a bit floppy. I thought about replacing the plastic bushing, then I flowed just a tad of thin cyanoacrylate glue in and it has worked well! Kind of Bubba, but you would never know it

Naw.. that isn't bubba.. bubby would have stuffed some paper and bondo in there... besides he can't even spell cyanoacrylate... oh crap, for that matter I can't either.
Seems mine is the telescoping kind. Didn't know till I tried to remove it . Anyway, I just put some plumbers puddy on the bushing. Waiting for it to dry to see if it's going to work. If not I'll be in the market for a new bushing
