I have one of the T-top suitcases also and love it.
Great for storing them in the garage too.

Have glass T Tops for my '79. Safest way to carry them for me is to put them in the factory bags and put an old sofa throw pillow between the
storage area and the first top (bottom side down), then put another
pillow on top of that. The other top (also bottom side down), then use
the factory tie down straps to secure them. They don't move, they
don't get scratched, and it doesn't take up too much room either!
