I find it hard to believe that the multitude of '68 owners on this forum have yet to come to your aid, bkvette3.
But mention that the '68 model year Vette was the biggest piece of crap to come off a GM production line during the 60's decade and responses defending their darling would go on for pages. Go figure?

Hope that was a joke... The 68 had a few quality control problems, many of which must have been addressed by now. Some parts redesigned in following years. IMO something you often see for first years. Was the 63 problem free? The 84? The 68 is unique in many ways which adds interest....

I'm very happy with my '68 but then I also prefer a coupe so what do I know.
