Woo hoo, drove the vette down to a local cruise in last night, I'm glad it's an auto, or it would have been a few more weeks without drivin' it.
Physical therapy is going along ok,but I think those pt guys have a sadistic streak, man can they dish out the pain, jk, they do an awesome job.
Life is a little better behind the wheel of a C3.

Went through that a couple years ago. Not fun. Get better soon! Tell me - is it better to have a good wife looking after you or a good looking wife after you?

Ok, my turn. Shoulder rebuilt (2nd time in 14 years) yesterday. Wrenching done for awhile, I will ask my sons to do some simple stuff under my eye, and get some dad time w/ them.
I start PT on Friday. Total down time is 4-6 months. I will wait to drive the Vette until I lose the sling, a little tight between me, the sling pad, and the SW. Oh yeah, shifting would be a little interesting too.

I feel your pain. Had both shoulder and knee surgery years ago and found out this past December that both of my shoulders need to be operated on. I'm going to have to get my fix just staring at the vette for awhile.

major bumma, but I'm w/ ya. Left knee scope in July, right knee scope in Sep. So my Harley season has been pretty much wiped out too.

6 days post op, shoulder is still puffy and a little sore. ROM is slowly coming back, no sling in the house but I use it if I have to go out. Looks like at least another week of not driving the vette.

Hey Jedi, hang in there man, I took a drive for ya today, went to a car show, probably 500 cars there. I forgot my sling at home, but made out ok, the hot weather seems to help keep it from tightening up. I spent yesterday cleaning and waxing the vette, that's a lot of work for one arm. I'm 5 1/2 weeks post op, did I mention how mean those PT guys are?

Jedi, how are you healing up? I'm almost 5 months into it and don't have enough range of motion yet, can barely touch the back or top of my head. Looks like I'm going in for a manual manipulation where I get put under general anesthesia and the doc twists and pulls it around, hopefully without breaking any bones. Then a couple weeks with a machine moving it to keep the range. He says expect 6 to 8 weeks after that to get it strong enough for work!
