I am looking for my 1973 corvette stingray I purchased new from Bobby Mitchell Chevrolet in Florence Al dealer code 08 - 368. Yellow w/black conv. top with black interior - 4spd trans. I later sold the vette to a dealer in Jackson Tn. I would like to know any info about the vette or if anyone has info to share, please let me know. Thanks - David E

Do you have the VIN? You could request a title search with the Tennessee DMV and might be able to learn where the car might have gone after you sold it. Be aware, a lot of DMVs can no longer release personal identification information due to confidentiality laws.

I submitted an application to DMV Nashville Tn and was denied info because I do not own the vette. When I sold the vette the buyer wanted all the paperwork with the vette so I did not keep any papers and cannot at this time get my viv# in the correct order. I would like any info available about the vette .Thanks - David E

VIN will be 1Z37*3S4xxxxx for coupes and 1Z67*3S4xxxxx for convertibles.
* will be J, T, or Z depending on the original engine installed, L-48, L-82, or LS4 in that order.
xxxxx will be the five numbers of the consecutive unit number.
Without the actual VIN, it's possible you may not be able to determine anything further.
