Default ac condenser

after today i have thought about repairing my ac.its over 94 degrees out there.i think my leak is in the condenser .should i replace with factory or is there a better replacement ?i want to use 134a.

With R134a you want a modern parallel flow condenser rather than the C3 serpentine style. Not sure if there's a bolt-in version these days. I converted years ago, using a universal model and had to have an AC shop make adapter fittings.

I replaced my AC system last year. I installed the new condenser (14"x27") using the original brackets. You can find a parallel flow condenser here.

wow ,the prices for the better condenser is half what the factory one is .what is the best way to change the oil in the compressor?

Change the oil with the comp off the car, and let it drain out the hose connections. Make sure to use Ester oil; it mixes and is compatible with the old mineral stuff. Also would be good to blow out the rest of the system. If its got a orfice tube replace that too.

And change the hoses "while you're at it"...if old

i did not no if i need a a cleaning solution to get all the oil out.the rubber line was replaced a couple of years ago.i have not replaced the orvice tube .how hard are they to get out?
