Any helpful hints installing the bezels around the push buttons on the doors? The little prongs look delicate and these pieces seem impossible to replace right now. I have tried to bend them out a little and push them in, but no luck yet and afraid to damage them and/or paint.
I have used a large socket with a piece of cloth between it and the bezel to "hammer" it in place. getting the 'prongs' just right is the problem I think.

I don't recall a problem with stock or NOS parts. Installing today's aftermarket pieces may be a little more difficult, if the prongs don't have much spring to them. My recollection (this is from over 30 years ago, mind you) was that the original parts just snapped in place with no problem. But, like I said, that is, at best, an ooolllldddd memory.
