Calling Wilcox

For some reason this summer, my 79 Vette is having problems switching from the vent setting to the heater or defogger settings. I have to play with the slider a couple of times before it goes where I need it it. Is it a vacuum problem or a mechanical one?

Do you hear the blend door moving when you switch to the different settings? Do you hear a whistling sound under the dash indicating a vacuum leak?

Mine is working similar AC works vent works but not the defroster would love to fix it if I new what it was!

I get a Hiss sometimes all the vents work but sometimes it seems that there is a delay, so I have to play around with levers.
