Default Passenger mirror location

My 75 has slight indentations in the passenger door marking where a mirror would be located. Did they come from the factory marked that way or has a mirror been mounted and removed at some time? Thanks in advance for your help.

The passenger's side mirror was a dealer option - not factory. Sounds as if your car may have had the mirror at some time in the past.

Personally, they're nice to have.

I agree with Mike. There was likely a mirror there in the past, but was removed and filled in during last repaint. The 'marks' are likely just shrinkage of the filler used to patch the holes. But, at least you know where to drill.
