I am seeking info on my 1973 corvette stingray I purchased new from Bobby Mitchell Chevrolet, dealer code 08 - 368 in Florence Al. Yellow w/black conv. top - black interior - 4 spd trans - rally-sport wheels. I later sold the corvette stingray to a for-sale-by-owner/dealer in Jackson Tn. who was Jerry W. Start with the Tennessee DMV and see if they have records of the car during/after the time Jerry W had it. Be advised that, due to confidentiality laws, the DMV may not be allowed to release subsequent owner names or addresses.
The DMV will ask for the VIN and - possibly - a title number.

Thanks - Nashville DMV said that I would have to have a letter from current owner and/or permission from owner w/notery signature, date and attorney rep. WOW !!! - I hope I dont lose my sweetheart - try finding one of them. LOL
