Default T-Tops Case

Hey Guys,

I want to buy a storage case for my tops and I need some help.

I have seen the soft cases like the ones Willcox sells, but does anyone know where I can find a hard outer shell case? I want to say I saw someone post a picture of one once on here, it was silver (metal looking) but I can't seem to find it.

I did an ebay search and came up with only soft cases.

Thanks.

Don't know about the hard case... Here's my experience with the soft bag though... I used a big towel to protect the tops for years... Then bought the bag... I then was able to strap that on the luggage rack... BUT it really blocks your rear view.... Getting the full bag out from behind the seats was not east but very doable... Getting them out one at a time was the way to do that.... Finally bought the brackets for the tops to live on the rack...100% the way to go ...

This one is different than the individual bags, but I don't think it's hard sided . .

Thank you for the idea, but my car is a 1980. I don't have what I think you are assuming is the chrome luggage rack. Nor do I plan to get them, I think they take away from the car.

I don't mind putting them in the "trunk" space. But I like the idea of having foam and a hard case to protect them.

The image was for the rain coat, not a top bag. Although I like the idea of these, I am looking to purchase them right now. I happy with removing the tops, I just want to protect them better while in storage and make it easier to carry them together.

This is bump to see if anything new has surfaced. Still looking for a hard case if it exits.

Something similar to this. A hard case to really protect them.

But would love to avoid this kind of money to do so.

Those cases seem awful heavy to be lifting in an out of the back compartment over the seat backs

Well they don't have to be that heavy. I was just giving an idea. I wanted a case that had a hard / rugged exterior so things could be placed on top or dropped and not have to worry about damage to the tops.
