Hi jltr,
I believe the one in Willcox's link is for a 4-speed car. The seal for an auto. car is different.
Regards,
Alan

i did the same thing. everything is easy but the dash. be careful trimming thre carpet orit wont cover in the end and ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!! use masking tapeand label things so u know where they plug in nd what screws go where and MOUNT EVERYTHING ON THE DASH BEFORE YOUINSTALL IT!!! I amstill fighting with this. Screw holes arent thereso u have to mark them out and put them in! vents and glove boxdoor not fun ti install when your on your beackunder the dash lol. And never throw anything out until positive youdone need it anymore. You will be surprised what the stupid little piecescost toreplace. I am two piecesfrom having interior done then its off too primer lol. Goodluck!

I was you last summer....I never want to be you again!
A piece of advice that immediately comes to mind is regarding the rear package tray....buy a totally assembled door unit with carpet and frames installed.
Youve got a sh!tty job in front of you, but as it starts coming back together, its very satisfying

Burning Brakes
It took me 10 days to rip out the interior including the ac box and pedals. It took four months to put it back together. About 100-120 hours in total.
I held the harnesses up on the windshield lip with some small thin screwdrivers. This kept it off the floor. That looks like mostly surface rust with some heavy stuff under the drivers feet.
Go slow and replace/rebuild everything you can. You do not want to ever tear back down to this level again.

When you get down to it, most of the wires are for light bulbs, which Im sure you are also going to replace. I remember just separating wires into groups, like the speedo and tach wiring and laying them on opposite sides of the steering column. After a while you will become very well acquainted with all of the wires and it wont seem quite so daunting anymore.
Another "while your in there" is to replace the tachometer cable....guess who had to do that after the interior was all back together.

The only piece you havent taken off is the back window trim....I would recommend installing the pop out window...u can see the 2 holes for the window posts and u will see the brackets for the clamps where the halo panels were..something to think about...i have a 74 also and the back window rarely is ever in the car...
