Just joined the Forum today. Naturally, this is the first thread I looked at. These are beautiful cars. My last (and only) Vette was a '69 350/350 4 speed, years ago. I am now looking for a '73 and my wife thinks I'm crazy. The bug never leaves you. My current car is a '72 Cutlass Supreme in midnight blue and double black. Thanks for the pictures!

Great looking car. It's almost like looking in a mirror. Lol Was your black rear window trim already re-painted when you bought the car, or did you do it yourself? I need to repaint mine. I have a look of chrome showing. If you did do yours, could I ask what steps you took and what you used? I have been wanting to turn my white letters around. The tires were mounted that way when I bought it. I like it, but ready for a slight change. I'm going to turn them around soon. Anyhow, great looking car. I like it!!!

Well from the pics, it looks like they did a great job on the paint. Mine could really use a repaint. Maybe in a couple of years if the money is right. My car is all stock. I bought it with 42,500 on it. I did put a new hi flow, so they say, cat. conv. on when I bought the car. What I would like to do in the near future is install true duals and headers. I'm thinking about going with a Pypes exhaust system that has the cross pipe. What headers, not sure yet. If I would ever get into the engine, I may change the intake and heads with the lastest and greatest. I should be able to bump the horsepower up pretty much with that. And some with the headers and duals.?? I guess I'm trying to get the best of both worlds. Horsepower and Gas Mileage...

Her's mine,
Ive had it about 2 weeks now.
No brakes when I bought it.
Have since restored the brakes, replaced the rear spring end mounts, oil change.
It is a pretty solid driver but needs a few items.
I am restoring the original intake design, already installed the dual snorkel shrouds, should be getting the air cleaner and flex ducts tomorrow.
All A.I.R. equipment has been removed as well as the a/c pump.
Getting ready to order the door/ window weather stripping.
The cosmetics will be last.
Not too bad for a $4 k vette I think.
Always wanted one of these.
Jeff
