I spent several hours yesterday at my buddy's house with his electric polisher. The results were amazing. All the dull faded spots shined up like a champ. It honestly looks like a different car now.

Thanx for the comments jr73 its taken a lot of hard work and money to this point!! I thought I would upgrade the 73 to Steeroids rack and pinion and Shark Bite rear suspension for my Christmas box but the $1200 shipping plus customs in the UK soon put pay to that, looks like we are staying stock. Happy New Year to you all.

When I posted it was 19.45 I was waiting for the taxi / cab to take me and the wife to our local pub with a live band on for the new year celebrations, and a good night was had by all.
Not a good morning though ?

Finally Home
Its taken a long time to get this done, but its finally home.
Took 12 years, and I don't want to think about the $$$.
Here is where I started.
<a href="http://s211.photobucket.com/user/VetteThunder1/media/Stripping/DSC00180-1.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb114/VetteThunder1/Stripping/DSC00180-1.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo DSC00180-1.jpg"/></a>
Razor blades work well to strip the old paint.
Here is the body after stripping all the paint and power washing

Here is the chassis and power train that is going under the body.

And here is the finished car now.
