Sounds Good. Might start to plan ahead 11 months for another trip to the USA.
I have some friends in central Illinois (Elpaso). Looks like it's not far down the road.
Should I bring my cheque book ??
....I am planning on attending in 2014 to try for another Bloomington Gold "Survivor" Award.
...got Survivor in 1994(when 1974s were first eligible)and 2004 and I think it'd be to be the same owner and get three(if I get it)Survivor Awards over a 20yr period.
Luke,
Blm Gold in Champaign will be 'right down the road' from your friends home in Elpaso. Hope to see you and Mike and Paul at the event in 2013! We're working now to build more fun events and excitement.

I got mine about a month ago and most of the good hotel were already sold out. Hope the Holidat Inn is a good one.
The hotels closest to the show site will obviously fill up quickly. But there are almost 30 hotels listed on our site and most are not full at this point. One of the reasons we chose Champaign was that it was accustomed to handling lots of visitors for Big Ten games and could comfortably handle the B Gold crowd. When you go to www.bloomingtongold.com you can see a link on the home page to 'Champaign Hotels - Click Here' or go to 'Lodging'. There you will see a handful of popular hotels/ motels. At the bottom of the page it says "For a list of other hotels, please click here". This will take you to a list of 28 hotels, there location and phone number, and their distance to the Bloomington Gold event.
I hope this is helpful. If there is anything else we can do please let us know; guy@bloomingtongold.com. ( I hope that is ok with Forum rules.)
thanks
