Paint Protection
I have been using towels on the front of my Corvette for a long time and I got tired of them sliding off because of the wax so I made a cover from a Harbor Freight shipping blanket for $7.00. I had my hood off so I used it to make a template. Now I feel my paint is protected. I thought I would share with everybody.

If you could get some of that rubber back on it in a few strategic places to keep in place when you are moving around. Looks like a great idea.

thats a good idea.
I have one of the blankets from harbor freight that I keep on top of my car cover. With the extra thick insulation it keeps the paint from getting dinged as the occasional box or other item gets placed on the car when moving things around in the garage.
I may have to invest in another cheap blanket the next time I go there.
