Hi MRJ,
About the wires...
If you leave cookies and milk along with 5 $100 dollar bills in the car the dash fairy will visit your garage and put the wires back in place.
Regards,
Alan
Hi David,
The order of reassembly many people seem to use is:
left side dash pad
shifter console
e-brake console
center gauge cluster
right side dash pad
It's a good idea to check EVERYTHING as it goes back together so you don't discover gauges, lights, switches, controls, that don't work when you think you're finished.
Good Luck!
Regards,
Alan

I think I've seen her. Weird though she appears when I ..smack my head against the steering column or smack my head against the driveshaft and/or other drive component.

Alan, you couldn't be more right about this part. I only checked a few things to make sure they worked along the way. When I was "done" I found out 3 things weren't working correctly and ended up taking most of the dash out and in about 3 more times before I got everything right.
But.. I did a revision.. about the steering column a long time ago because we left it out of the original paper.
Make sure it is the last thing that you put in. And.. even if the bulbs are new.. test them before you put the dash back in. Sockets and bulbs are a common problem..
