Looking for help with id of the rearend in my 77. ID stamp shows OA 208 W7E1 ??????????? The OA makes sence, but the rest of the stamp is odd to me. Can anyone shed ideas??

Off the top of my head W7E1 is the date code.

1 calendar date

Is there a digit after the 1? May 1st happened to be a Sunday in 1977.
