Phoenix graphics match the original.

After 8 months of perp I'm having mine painted next week. I thought of having the graphics applied before the clear is done.

If future judging is a concern for you, all CE graphics were applied after the body was painted. There should be no clear coat over them.

Good point. Something I never even thought of. Mind you, there are only a handful of ce's in Australia so there's little to compare it with.
Most folks down under consider it a novelty to even see a Corvette let alone be able to tell one model from another
I did look at decals but they were very expensive and difficult to ship long distance without worry of them being damaged.
The air brushing is probably a little darker than the original decals but with nothing to compare it to, who would know?

Thanks guys, I love the late C3 convertibles. This one is an extra novelty because a CE was cut. I only know of two CE roadsters, mine and one in Sacramento. Give me a yell of anyone has seen others out there.

how much more would the 78-82 vettes be worth today if they would have been factory convertibles?

No doubt there's a reason no convertibles were produced after 75. I do love the late c3 roadsters.
No more posts about 82 CE decals?
