Let's count the lies:
1) Garage Kept? Really? How did it get so much rust on the air cleaner alone??
2) Super Clean? So you washed clean each of the pine needles in the cowl and put them back in place??
3) Nothing is wrong with the car but the battery? What about those flat tires??
4) The car will start and run. I'll bet you $50 bucks it won't.
5) You say you're from Detroit, then what's with the license plate? There is no WVTM TV chanel 13 in Detroit!!

Lots of uneducated people in Detroit, MI. That's as good of an explanation as I can come up with. As for the rust, I grew up in the Detroit suburbs. (Riverview, MI) Aka downriver. The humidity is high year around, the city sits on top of a huge salt deposit so rock salt is cheaper than dirt, and is generously applied to the roads during the winter. It melts the snow and ice. Also rusts out the cars in a matter of a few yrs. Cars not even driven in winter and just sitting in an unheated garage will rust over time. As stated the wvtm license plate is out of the south. Alabama actually. I once lived in W GA, lots of good clean cars down there, I took a K5 Blazer up to Detroit and sold it and made a nice profit because the local trucks were rust buckets. Don't be so hard on the guy. It might not be full of lies.
I don't think there's any relationship between poor spelling and lies. Take a look around the Internet any day of the week. Postings filled with horrendous spelling, grammar and punctuation disasters. It's so bad I'm actually surprised when someone spells "lose," "too," "you're," or "they're" correctly. Let alone words with more than 5 letters.
I don't think there's a geographic issue or an indicator of a lack of truthfulness. People in general just can't spell.
