Eric, how was the fit? Did you have to build on additional glass, or did you have to cut/grind/sand to get that nice snug fit and clean lines? Nice job! I used the valance from Ecklers, I didn't even consider CI and should have looked into it.
The fit was excellent. I bought the Press Molded parts and aside from minor trimming, it was a pefect fit.
The rear of my car had some repairs previously and I had to correct those somewhat to get the panel in correctly. I also replaced the inner bumper brackets as those were bent and when I made the corrections, the originals wouldn't fit anymore.
Once I had the panel in, I bolted the bonding strips to valance and then taped the plugs to the body and maintained the gap/alignment and scribed off the cut line and viola, I had it. Mixed up their boding material and it was done, aside from painting.
Corvette Image supplies to Paragon and, Ecklers....great folks to deal with. Highly reccomend them.
Very nice. Looks great! Sounds like you were very pleased with the parts you had to work with. It's always a plus to read a good review of a part supplier. Thanks.
