hello i'm new to this forum and a new vette owner. i got a 1975 with a four speed. the car is a little rougher than i thought after buying it. the last owner installed a one piece front end and did a poor job. so i removed i and removed the inner fenders and what ever they were glued on with. the support at the top of the fire wall. i have it. what is the distance between the top of the rear of the fenders so i can reglass the support back in. also do the inner fenders attach the the frame at all or just to the fenders. thanks for any info. and input.
Inner fender skirts bolt to the radiator support and bond to the fenders. I am not familiar with what you are calling a support at the top of the firewall.
My advice would be to purchase the 75 assembly instruction manual (AIM) and take a look at the stock installation diagrams to familiarize yourself with what you are dealing with.
This will help: http://www.glas-ra.com/ Tehy have two volumes; one for front clips; one for rear.
thanks i did order a assy manuel. i'll get a pic of the piece i'm talking about. but it goes across the top rear of the fenders about 2 in. wide and bonds to top of cowling.
